Physical activity is any body movement that works your muscles and uses more energy than you use when you're resting. Walking, running, dancing, swimming, yoga, and gardening are examples of physical activity.
Health related fitness is fitness done with balance among the development and improvement of the whole body.
Physical exercise is bodily activity that develops or maintains physical fitness and overall health. It is often practiced to strengthen muscles and the cardiovascular system, and to hone athletic skills.
Physical exercise is physical activity that is planned, structured, and repetitive for the purpose of conditioning any part of the body Physical exercise is used to improve health, maintain fitness and is important as a means of physical rehabilitation.
Exercise is a type of physical activity that's planned and structured. Lifting weights, taking an aerobics class, and playing on a sports team are examples of exercise
Physical activity is good for many parts of your body. This article focuses on the benefits of physical activity for your heart and lungs.
Physical activity is any activity that causes your body to work harder than normal. It describes activities that are beyond your daily routine of sitting, standing, and walking up stairs. Everyone can benefit from increased physical activity
Physical exercise is work done by the human body for such purposes as strengthening, health, or sport.
Health is related to physical fitness; that is one thing that can be easily overlooked. This is a basic fact, but with what the technology and other people have brought us, a lot of people forget to see this.
Health-related physical fitness includes two major parts; Activity and diet.
Physical fitness and exercise are essential for good physical and mental health, including weight control. Exercising helps a person develop and keep a strong self-image and a sense of emotional balance. As people get older, exercise becomes more important. This is because after the age of 30, the heart’s blood pumping capacity declines at a rate of about 8 percent each decade.
Most common forms of exercise like bicycling and swimming, very seldom cause serious injuries, but contact sports, such as judo and football, can cause wear on the joints. This can lead to articular disease or joint problems. The problem for most beginners is over exercise. Many people encounter stiffness after the first day of exercise. This is harmless and does not last very long. People who are overweight or obese, past middle age, or who suffer from heart disease should get in touch with a physician before starting any exercise program. Sometimes children who are involved in competitive sports suffer from muscle and joint problems
Precautions to consider as you exercise:
• Do not overexert your body if you are taking blood pressure medication that controls your heart rate.
• Do not hold your breath, as this may put a strain on your heart.
• Do not exercise on uneven surfaces that could cause you to fall.
• If you have bone disease, poor vision, poor balance, or weakness, do not use heavy weights or perform excessive weight bearing exercises.
• Watch for signs of internal or external bleeding if you are taking blood thinners.
• If you have swelling, pain, dizziness, or blurred vision, discontinue all exercise and call your physician immediately
• Remaining as physically active as possible helps to maintain physical functions, improving coordination and balance. The adage "Use or lose it" is particularly applicable to people with Parkinson’s disease. Numerous studies demonstrate that people who follow a regular and consistent exercise regimen, such as walking for 30 minutes each day, are able to maintain control of voluntary movement more effectively and longer into the course of the disease than those who do not have much physical activity. As well, most people enjoy being out and about, even if that just means walking around the block or around the yard. Physical activity is also good for relieving stress and improving mood.
